Reflection Probes



Request for Information




Our reflection probes are excellent for measuring absorption and reflection in liquids and powdery substances. The probe end can be consists of a sapphire window glued in the tip. The light led into the tip over 6 optical fibres can be directed to the sample at a 45° angle. This is important because if the angle is strictly followed direct reflections of the windows can be avoided. The material to be analysed reflects the incident light which is directed back to the spectrometer over a 7th optical fibre. Both fibre bundles protected by a flexible metal protection tube are connected over an SMA-connector.
