Overview
The SentroBlender is a compact unit operation simulator which allows method development using extremely low amount of materials only. The SentroBlender can be used with the SentroPAT BU II and the SentroPAT DA. The mounting of these systems is based on a 4" hygienic flange with a sapphir windows which is exactly the same as in connections used for process equipment. Due to the equal optical properties methods developed with the SentroBlender can be transfered to production scale equipment with low efforts. The SentroBlender is an ideal system to develop quantitative methods as just a few miligrams of material are needed.
The SentroBlender and SentroPAT DA were used for a series of experiments which were reported in several posts on LinkedIn. Below you can find access to these articles.

In part 1 the planned experiments to built a calibration for Magensiumstearate with a concentration of 0.5% w/w in a blend are described - and the first obersvation that was made.

In this part the learnings and corrections from part 1 are described - and the surprisingly clear spectral differences for concentrations of 0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0% and 3.0% are demonstrated.
